Map of the Denny ‐ Tunnel Westlake Avenue Station alternative with boundaries of John Street to the north, Boren Avenue North to the east, Sixth Avenue and Blanchard Street, Seventh Avenue and Lenora Street, Eighth Avenue and Virginia Street crossroads to the south, and Bell Street and Seventh Avenue crossroads to the west. The tunnel guideway for this new station runs north and south under Westlake Avenue North with a station platform located between Westlake Avenue North and Blanchard Street and Westlake Avenue North and Lenora Street crossroads. Station entry points for this station alternative include two on the southeast corner of the Blanchard Street and Westlake Avenue North crossroad and two on the northeast corner of the Fifth Avenue and Columbia Street crossroad. Pedestrian-focused realms will be implemented around the potential station entrances. These realms are located on each side of Madison Street between Fourth Avenue and Fifth Avenue and on the northeast corner of the Fifth Avenue and Columbia Street crossroad. Existing crosswalks to the proposed Midtown ‐ Tunnel Fifth Avenue station area are located at the crossroads of Fifth Avenue and Madison Street, Fifth Avenue and Marion Street, Fifth Avenue and Columbia Street, and Fourth Avenue and Madison Street. The streetcar runs north and south on Westlake Avenue North with a stop located either side of Westlake Avenue North between Denny Way and Blanchard Street. Current bus routes run east and west on Spring Street, Marion Street, and Columbia Street as well as north and south on Third Avenue, north to south on Fifth Avenue north of Spring Street, north and south of Sixth Avenue between Madison Street and Marion Street, and north and south on Interstate-Five. Active bus bays include one location on south side of Madison Street between Fourth Avenue and Fifth Avenue and one location on the south side of Spring Street between Fourth Avenue and Fifth Avenue. A paratransit stop is located northwest corner of the Fifth Avenue and Columbia Street crossroad. A pick-up and drop off site for automobiles is located on the east adjacent sides of Eighth Avenue north and south of the Blanchard Street and Eighth Avenue crossroad. Existing bicycle facilities exist northeast and southwest on Bell Street northwards through Nineth Avenue North and northwest and southeast on Seventh Avenue and Eighth Avenue. Existing bicycle and personal mobility storage is located east of the Nineth Avenue and Denny Way crossroad as well as on the east adjacent side of Blanchard Street between Eighth Avenue and Nineth Avenue. Parks and public space are located at Denny Park at Denny Way and Nineth Avenue North as well as at Denny Playfield Basketball Court east adjacent Denny Park. Potential transit-oriented development located on the western block of Westlake Avenue between Blanchard Street and Eighth Avenue.

Station entry points for this station alternative include two at the northeast corner of the crossroads at Terry Avenue North and Denny Way, two at the northeast corner of the crossroads at Terry Avenue North and John Street, as well as at the southeast corner of the crossroads of Terry Avenue North and Thomas Street for an entry through a potential joint development. A pedestrian-focused realm will be implemented around the potential station. This realm is located on each side of Denny Way from Westlake Avenue North to Terry Avenue North, on each side of Terry Avenue North between Denny Way and Thomas Street, and on each side of John Street from Terry Avenue North to Boren Avenue North. Pedestrian connection improvements will be implemented heading east and west across the John Street between Terry Avenue North and Boren Avenue North, and on the east side of Terry Avenue North heading south from Thomas Street to John Street.
